If you haven't surmised already, I won't be doing much more to this page. I was surprised that I still had the log-in information for the site actually. I'm still around IRC (GameSurge, #wavelength, and some others). So if you'd like to reminisce and can wait a few days between responses, I'll be happy to rummage up a story or two.
So I started out on this path on a whim, if you care to search, you can find some of my original postings on the wavelength's archives. I was young (15!), dumb and bored. Little did I know that Half-Life was going to change my direction in life. Just to cut to the chase, I had always wanted to be an architect. I can still find dozens and dozens of floorplans, sketches of buildings, etc today that I did when I was younger. Now, nearly 7 years later, I'm about as far from architecture as you can get. Yes, I could still design a sort of architecture, but it would most definitely have to be a microarchitecture. These are my last few months of my college years. I'll be graduating from a nice engineering school with two degrees (Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering). I haven't settled on a job offer yet, but I'll most likely be selecting something that satisfies my current ambitions. Again, on a whim, I started working with robotics. That's what I've been doing for more than a year now, programming, designing, building, testing, everything you can imagine. Maybe one day I'll pop-up again, as some sort of big^robotic^guy. :}
I couldn't possible list everyone I've met over the past few years or give justice to the details of their assistance, so I can only emphasize Thank you all.
It was a fun ride, I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did.
